Kajal Agarwal replaces Anushka opposite Ravi Teja!

The Tollywood’s strike not only resulted in delay of upcoming film releases but also caused call-sheet problems to the actresses. Top-actresses who have allocated their plenty of dates for new film shoots have been in vain and now, the actresses have to step-out of projects due to the clash of dates with other films.

Recently, Kajal Agarwal has faced such problem for Ram Charan starrer Merupu and the latest one is Anushka being stepped out of Veera for the same call-sheets problem. Ravi Teja is playing the lead role in Veera and sources say, there are chances for Kajal Agarwal being roped in the project in place of Anushka.However, the official statement from the film-makers is yet to come.

Mahesh and Anushka to share screen again

Khaleja movie has set a stage for Mahesh and Anushka’s romance and many liked their on-screen chemistry. The pair seems to be back with ‘Veta’ again. Mahesh signed up a film which is tentatively titled as ‘Veta’ and Anushka has been roped in as the leading lady in the film. Veta is a bilingual film and will be directed by Tamil director,Linguswamy.

While the Telugu version has Mahesh in the lead role, Tamil version will see Arya. Madhavan and Sameera Reddy is said to be playing key-roles. With ‘Dookudu’ under Srinu Vytla’s direction and remake of 3-Idiots under Shankar’s direction in the pipeline, Mahesh can afford his dates for Veta only in the coming year.

Nag and Anushka romancing at Jordan

King Nagarjuna’s ‘Ragada’ unit has gone for an abroad schedule to Jordan. Two songs and some scenes are said to shot in Jordan. One song starring Nagarjuna and Anushka was shot recently at Maan, a desert city in Jordan.

The song was shot for almost nine long days between October 13th and 22nd in this hot desert. Both Nagarjuna and Anushka danced in the awful hot climatic conditions. The locations in Jordan are picturised well by the cameraman Sarvesh Murari.

The film features Priyamani, Brahmanandam, Kota Srinivas Rao, Thanikella Bharani, Pradeep Rawat, Dev Gill, Sushant Singh etc.

Jordan is place where most of the Hollywood films like Indiana Jones – the Last Crusader, The Hurt Locker etc. were shot. ‘Ragada’ is the first Telugu film that has been shot in Jordan.

The movie is set to hit the screens on December 17th
