Leonardo DiCaprio is J. Edgar Hoover

Leonardo DiCaprio is J. Edgar Hoover

Offering up a first look in a new role, Leonardo DiCaprio was hard at work on the set of "J. Edgar" in Los Angeles, CA on Tuesday (February 8).

Being directed by Clint Eastwood, the film is a "biopic on FBI director J. Edgar Hoover, focusing on his scandalous career and controversial private life as a homosexual and rumored cross dresser."

Boasting quite the cast, the drama - due out in 2012 - also stars Judi Dench (who was also on set), as well as Ed Westwick, Naomi Watts and Armie Hammer.

Making for one of the more anticipated aspects of the flick - it's been reported that Leo shares a number of smooches with Mr Hammer, who plays his second in command.

Of the many liplocks, the "Social Network" star recently told E!, “It’s not a kissing scene - it’s a ton of kissing scenes. [Leo is] a talented actor. I’m not nervous or afraid of it being awkward. The script is great. The scenes are in there for a reason. I’m really excited.”

Woman Who Slashed Leonardo DiCaprio’s Face Finally Heading To Prison

Woman Who Slashed Leonardo DiCaprio’s Face Finally Heading To Prison

Leonardo DiCaprio FINALLY has some closure on the 2005 face slashing incident in which a model smashed him in the face with a glass, causing him to need 17 stitches on his face and ear.

Today a judge sentenced Aretha Wilson to 2 years in prison and deportation to Canada after her release.

I can’t believe how long this case has taken! Well, part of the reason is because Aretha was on the run from authorities. And then she tried to say there was a cover up involved, but that claim didn’t hold any weight.

I’m sure he’s thrilled to finally put this behind him and move on.

Do you think 2 years is enough time for both the incident itself plus fleeing the country???

Leonardo DiCaprio Scores Temporary Restraining Order Against 'Wife'

Leonardo DiCaprio

Aceshowbiz :    Leonardo DiCaprio can relax for a while after a delusional woman, claiming to be his wife and a mother of their son Jesus, has been given a temporary restraining order (TRO).

Radar Online reported that the woman, named Livia Bistriceanu, must stay away a least 100 yards away from the "Inception" star as well as his home, workplace and car.

Leonardo was granted with the TRO by Judge Carol Boas Goodson in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday, August 25. In a declaration for the TRO, Leonardo stated, "I am frightened Ms. Bistriceanu and feel that my personal safety, and the personal safety of those around me is in jeopardy."

"Without a restraining order, I fear that there will not be sufficient law enforcement mechanisms to keep Ms. Bistriceanu away from me, especially since she (1) apparently maintains a delusional belief that she is my wife and carrying my child Jesus," Leonardo continued.

The "Titanic" actor further revealed, "(2) has recently stated and/or threatened that we will live together 'forever'... in His Kingdom (3) has managed to locate and identify my private residence, and (4) has evidenced a willingness to make physical contact to me regardless of consequences."
