Sarah Shahi

Sarah Shahi, (Aahoo Jahansouz) was born January 10, 1980 Texas to a Spanish mother and an Iranian father.

She stars as Dani Reese the partner of Charlie Crews’ (Damian Lewis) in NBC s new drama series “Life.”
Latest work: The Adventures of Beatle Boyin as Carla and Shades of Ray asSana Khaliq
She is well known for her role as the Mexican-American DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales in The L Word.
Playing a lesbian on “The L Word” for a year spiked her sex appeal, but it wasn’t till she joined NBC’s “Life” that her acting skills took center stage.

Relatively desexualized and increasingly angered by her partner’s philosophical dribble, her character Dani is always on the verge of snapping…but in an extremely comical way. You honestly don’t know if you should laugh or hide behind the couch. Funniest line of the season: “You mention that butterfly and I’m going to find it and rip its wings off.”
